#TopFiveThursday with #BookBlogger Kate Moloney at BibliophileBookClub

Today on #TopFiveThursday I have the lovely Kate Moloney who blogs over at http://www.bibliophilebookclub.com Kate was the very first person to follow the book review café and has been so supportive of my blog from day one, which makes her extra kind of special in my eyes. As to Kate’s blog I love it, Kate reviews mostly crime and psychological/thriller books and I love her honest and to the point reviews. If you haven’t stumbled across her blog yet I would suggest you pop over and take a look……once you’ve read her #TopFive of course!

Top 5 books this year (so far)?

Ooooh, this is such a tough question!! Its so hard to narrow it down but I’ll try…

Blackout by Ragnar Jónasson
See How They Run by Tom Bale
The Deviants by CJ Skuse
The Defence by Steve Cavanagh
Dodgers by Bill Beverly

Top 5 authors you think everyone should read?

What are you trying to do to me?! 🙂 I’m so not good at picking stuff like this!!!

Ragnar Jónasson- his Dark Iceland series is haunting and beautiful!

Steve Cavanagh- Legal thrillers to rival John Grisham.

Lee Child- I love his Jack Reacher character.

Chris Carter- Gruesome and gory but thoroughly entertaining.

James Carol- Like Carter’s books, and with an excellent protagonist as well!

Top 5 books you want to read before the end of 2016?

This is tough, as my most anticipated books of 2016 have all been read, so I’m going to go off my own personal TBR shelves for these:

Camilla Lackberg- Her entire series is on my shelves just waiting to be picked up!

Black Night Falling by Rod Reynolds

The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers- the cover is beautiful!!!

Reacher Said Nothing by Andy Martin- for obvious reasons!

Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel- another stunning cover!

Top 5 blogging tips that you would give to new bloggers?

Here’s where I will struggle! I never stop learning as a book blogger, and I haven’t been doing this for very long. My blog is only 2 years old so I’m only a litlie in terms of giving advice. If i had to pick though…

If you only read and review a certain genre, make sure that info is on your blog.

Don’t take on more than you can handle in terms of accepting books for review.

Don’t take it too seriously and don’t put yourself under pressure.

Book bloggers are very friendly, and helpful, so if you need help don’t be afraid to ask.

It’s all about the books, and the authors. Book love forever!

Top 5 book blogs you follow?

Yay! An easy answer for once! For me, it can only be #blogsquad, my blogging besties! 🙂

I am a married mom of two from Ireland, with aspirations to having my own library some day because all I do is buy books, read books, think about books, blog about books! I started to blog more when I was expecting my little girl as a way to pass the time, and also as a way to keep my brain occupied. It’s something that I enjoy, and that I do for myself. It’s given me plenty of opportunities, and some friends for life and I’d be lost (under my TBR mountain!!!!!) without it!

Huge thanks to Kate for taking time out of her busy life to answer my questions for #TopFiveThursday, and A HUGE THANK YOU to all the bloggers who have taken part, and to all those bloggers who have sent back their answers (I will get to you all ASAP) I really do appreciate each and everyone of you 😘😘
