I haven’t done a weekly wrap up post for ages, mainly because life has been very stressful the last couple of months, but I’m pleased to say things seem to be on the up. This week I have read two books and a sampler, which is good going for me, as I have been struggling to pick up a book, let alone actually read one.
Miss Wrong And Mr Right by Robert Bryndza
His Kidnappers Shoes by Maggie James
The Girl Before by JP Delaney (Sampler)
Books I bought this week
Forensics The Anatomy Of Crime by Val McDermid
New CSI by Nigel Cawthorne
Carrion by Betsy Reavley
The Puppet Master by Abigail Osborne
Looking at the books I’ve bought this week some might think I have an unhealthy obsession with crime books, either that or I’m planning a murder 😂🔪
I won Love You To Death by Caroline Mitchell along with a couple of signed postcards in her Newsletter giveaway and I couldn’t be more thrilled as I love this author.
ARC’s I received this week
Too Close by Gayle Curtis
Rattle by Fiona Cummins
Last week on The Book Review Café
Next week on The Book Review Café
A review for Miss Wrong And Mr Right by Robert Bryndza
Mini review for The Girl Before by JP Delaney
A long overdue review for The Silence Between Breaths by Cathy Staincliffe
#TopFiveThursday with a very special book blogger
And unusually there’s not a blog tour in sight, I’m trying to cut back on them so I can read some of the books I’m desperate to read that have been sitting on my book shelf for far to long.
Blogging news from The Book Review Café
Eeeeek I’m 300 followers away from hitting 5,000 which I find absolutely amazing considering I never thought I would get even a 100 followers when I joined Twitter back in September 2015. So over the next few weeks I will be posting a giveaway to celebrate my one year Blogiversary which was back in September (I completely forgot to do a giveaway then) and getting nearer to the 5,000 mark.
