**Weekly Wrap Up**

This week I have managed to read two books, unfortunately I may have been a little hasty in thinking things were on the up and life is just as stressful, mainly thanks to being slap bang in the middle of working my redundancy notice, so it’s having an effect on my reading or rather my concentration, but despite the lows I did manage to read

Scared To Death by Rachel Amphlett

I’m on the blog tour for this gripping book and you can read my review on Wednesday 7th December.

And the first Christmas post from one of my very favourite authors (my lips are sealed 🤐)

Blogging news from The Book Review Café

🎄🎄yaaaaay🎄🎄 were nearly in December and despite it being a rubbish year on so many levels I’m determined to get in the Christmas spirit so hence the Christmas decorations are well and truly up in the book review cafe household. Andy my ever suffering hubby was determined that they weren’t going up until next weekend, but after buying a new Christmas tree (last years can only be described as super lean!) he was as eager as me to put it up! (I know what your thinking, naughty 😂). Anyway I’m digressing here but as the end of the week you will see the first post from one of my favourite authors appearing in the lead up to Christmas as to Who? Why? What? You will just have to keep yours eyes peeled until I reveal all later this week.

Oh and only a 192 followers needed until I do my 5,000 followers on Twitter giveaway

  1. Lorraine I’m sorry life has been so stressful for you, I truly hope things start looking up and 2017 is a better year for you. I can certainly understand how that would affect reading and blogging. Looking forward to the surprise author post and congrats on being so close to 5000 twitter followers!!

  2. Real life does have a habit of getting in the way of reading. Sounds like you have a lot of life to deal with at the moment. Hope all starts on the up with the new year. I have refused to give in to decorating despite family pressure. But it makes me more excited for when we start next weekend. Have a good week.

  3. I’m sorry life has been stressful for you, it surely will get better very soon 🙂 Congrats on almost reaching 5000 followers, you’ll get the remaining 192 in no time! I wish I was excited about Christmas but this year won’t be the year I finally catch the spirit, maybe the next!
